Case Study - Bridging Loan

SIPP Lending Peer to Peer Lending.jpeg

Our Client’s Challenge

Our client’s had a Buy to Let (BTL) property that they’d put on the market to be sold. They were planning on using the funds from this sale to buy a new property to live in.

The client’s needed time to sell the BTL and therefore risked losing the new home especially as it had lot of viewings and potential offers coming in. This was a desirable property in a rural location.

Our Solution

Speed was the driving factor for this application, so an un-regulated bridging loan was the best option for the client in this situation. The client borrowed £125,000 which was enough to buy the new home outright and cover associated costs.

The Outcome

By coming to CJ White Group, the funds were delivered in days, allowing the client to successfully purchase their dream home. The bridging loan was arranged for 10 months, meaning they had 10 months to sell their BTL property and use the sale proceeds to settle the bridging loan, which took the pressure off.
